That will expedite the process by about 10X.Pull the wedges and lift the barrel out of the stock. Do remove the nipple, maybe even that flash channel manufacturing plug that some call a clean out screw. Put the breech in a bucket of water. This gives you a total space of .512” that you need to work off of. Subtract the .490 ball and this means you need to make up .022” of space.
